after trying to id, the white-crested elaenia perching my roof for about a month and circling my neighborhood, i strongly feel it is the bird in the photo's and after listening to the audio i am almost positive. i am not a bird expert but this bird call has me sooo curious in trying to id. after listening to the audio i got sooo excited that now i am asking for feedback. this bird is new to my area and his call is so loud, unusual and distinct. I fear neighbors may not appreciate his call, since it is loudest in the evening. i live on the northeast side of brownsville. please contact.
