Turtlelooo

twenty five green turtles on Paul Wentzel's boat. eleven green turtles on Texas Parks and Wildlife Boat. We raced out Saturday evening arriving barely an hour before dark upon all these sea turtles floating like rocks in the bay. It was an incredible sight to see on the flat calm waters of the bay nine mile north of the causeway. All the turtles went to Coastal Studies Lab after being unloaded next to the Sea Ranch Resturant. Saturday the 13th

Here is a sparrow at the convention center that I think is a immature Lark Sparrow. Is that right?
The causeway walk on Saturday was a rainbow of energy with almost two thousand people over the bay. Rozzi and Ceta are enjoying playing with little Ponga. Vesper or Savannah probably Savannah is another possibility as it is not a Lark after all. Darn sparrows are tough. I should know Savannah but the legs are usually so bright orange. Guess it is the winter look.

The new look at the New Sealife Center

Here are a few pictures of the new center located now at the Light House Square just at the end of the causeway
