Snook are yummy

Here is a snook that met his match with something other than a hook. Woo woo

The dolphin who caught it carried around in his mouth as if it were a prize for the winnner of the wrestling match going on with the boys nearby.

Saturday Sand Castle Days on SPI Dolphins Celebrate

Each of the five trips I took out on Saturday were WOO WOO. There was a dolphin family reunion going on. Personally I think that they are gathered to chase off some invading shark groups and what we were seeing on this day was the celebrating of winning the battle. It was amazing to see how many dolphins were together. The blue water came in thru the jetties with incoming tide making the visibility great for us and the dolphins. I filmed them playing with each other, throwing fish, and playing all around our boat. They definately had something going on. Who knows maybe it was Frosty's birthday. He is mega alpha male. On one of our trips I had the pleasure of having a family on board that really did believe in dolphins and we danced with dolphins around us for almost the entire trip.

special dolphin encounters

Westies on board these beauties enjoyed their trip to see the dolphins

Taking a private tour , father and daughter learned about real world dolphins. We had leaps and the upclose shot was so close to the bow of the boat that I barely snapped this shot with my long lense. The jump near the shoreline is amazingly close to land but that is because there is a drop off there. I always wish for a face and it means alot to me when the dolphins will show me their faces.
