more on surf and a Franklin's gull
more at the jetties and below I found a Franklin's gull on the dock sitting with Laughing gulls.
Notice the Franklin's gull is a little smaller sooty head and whiter eye ring and smaller bill.. hope he stays for the winter.

Those are pretty cool surf pics with the jetty for reference, with that size, it could be Hawaii.
