Hey Scarlet that is a beautiful shot of the dolphin looking directly into your eyes.
Thanks John
scarlett -I had a very up close and personal experience (actually two) just this past week at isla Blanca. I was out surfing at dawn monday, nov 13th and wednesday, nov 15th. both mornings as soon as I got out to the second sandbar, the pod was around me. eyeing me at first, then circling, catching the waves, playfully diving under my surfboard, blowing and squeaking. a real conversation, only about 5 feet away. we were playing in the waves and having fun. this lasted about 20 minutes or so. then on the morning of the 15th, the one with the nick out of his fin, jumped full body out of the water and went for the same wave I was on. I really thought I was going to touch him with my right hand as I paddled for the wave. what a way to start my day!-sharon, surfer/artist
